Dave Cella is the President of HCPro, a for-profit, wholly owned subsidiary of AHIMA. With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in both information services and healthcare industries, Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.

Dave previously served as President of HCPro in 2023 immediately following the acquisition and returned to the role in 2024. Prior to this, he served as Chief Product Officer for Simplify Compliance, HCPro’s parent company, for five years, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company's product strategy and direction.

Before his time at Simplify Compliance, Dave held executive positions including Vice President of Product Management and Executive Publisher for Jones and Bartlett Learning, as well as Vice President of Product Operations for the National Healthcareer Association. His diverse background also includes serving as Publishing Director, Life Sciences at Elsevier.

Dave holds an MBA from Babson College and a Bachelor of Science in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He is also certified in Pragmatic Marketing.
