As Vice President of Revenue Cycle Solutions for 3M’s Health Information Systems Division (HISD), Mr. Burke is responsible for driving HISD’s revenue cycle product strategy to ensure real value is delivered to clients in addition to innovating with new technologies. Prior to this role, Mr. Burke led the Data Informatics and Strategic Business Development team for HISD, where he developed new healthcare measures and managed relationships with the many industry vendors that partner with 3M for its industry-defining methodologies. He also led marketing efforts for the ICD-10 implementation, managed development of HISD’s computer-assisted coding technology, served as a division Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and gained on the ground experience on how healthcare worked as a client sales representative. Before joining 3M in 2000, Mr. Burke was CEO of a distribution company where he successfully turned growth from negative to positive before selling the business for a profit.
