Vishal Desai joined Westchester Medical Center in May 2008 and is currently the senior vice president of Revenue Cycle, Managed Care and Financial Planning. In this role, he is responsible for evaluating and enhancing revenue opportunities through managed care contracting and many revenue cycle operations across all WMCHealth hospitals. Over the course of his career, he has earned his reputation as a strong leader with high integrity, one who is a team player and has a passion for healthcare. His duties include department oversight for payor contracting, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, charge capture, health information management, clinical case management, billing to payors, and patient financial services/overall collection of patient service revenues.
